START: Token Distribution and Tokenomics

T-Starter
2 min readFeb 12, 2021

The T-Starter platform makes it possible for projects to raise capital in a decentralised cross-chain environment based on the Telos Blockchain. The platform will use the START platform token for exclusive access to premium platform services and functions.

START Token Distribution

A maximum of 100 million START tokens will be issued. Approximately 5% of this total supply is in circulation. The breakdown is as follows;

  • 4.5M START (4.5%) — seed round @ 0.0000002 BTC / START
  • 250k START in two beta test rounds on platform launch (125k @ 0.9 TLOS, 125k @ 1.125 TLOS)
  • Future sales are in review and will be published shortly.

Reserved tokens will be used as follows;

  • Exchange and AMM liquidity
  • Liquidity mining incentives
  • Marketing
  • Team and advisor incentives

START Token Usecases

Access to private sales

Certain projects listing on the T-Starter platform are likely to complete their sale rapidly or be over subscribed. START tokens will be used to allow holders early access to these projects and control the level of participation in the case of over subscribed projects.

Platform governance

START token holders will be able to participate in platform governance. This will involve voting on project listing criteria, fees, rewards and new feature development.

Staking rewards

By staking their START tokens, holders will receive staking rewards. Staking rewards will be funded from a percentage of the fees collected from project listings and token sales. Unstaking tokens will undergo an unstaking period before becoming liquid to prevent gaming of the staking reward system.
