We are excited to announce that we have chosen the Telos blockchain for the launch of T-Starter — aiming for a take off Q2-Q3 2021.
Telos is the fastest, and one of the most active, blockchains available, so for us it was a no-brainer. Telos has huge upside potential and with the blockchain now building bridges to Ethereum and the Telos-EVM coming online this year, we expect there will be a lot of new, and existing, projects that will want to make Telos their home. Here at T-Starter, we are well-positioned to help with onboarding.
What is T-Starter?
T-Starter aims to act as the launchpad and incubator for both new and existing projects, particularly in the DeFi space, leveraging the lightning-fast transaction speeds, scalability, and negligible fees on the Telos blockchain.
Effectively we want to allow projects to raise funds more efficiently & cost-effectively than currently available on any other chain, or any other launchpad.
Participation in swap pools as a DeFi product is unattainable for many due to the high fees on Ethereum, Telos EVM changes that and T-Starter aims to take advantage of this opening up token swap pools to a new audience.
More than just feeless transactions
We have a lot more in our sights than bringing swap pools to a broader audience, however; as project founder, Rory Mapstone, talks about:
“Although projects like Polkastarter are trailblazers in the swap pool space, I think we can look at them and learn from what worked and what didn’t.
An element I don’t want to repeat with T-Starter is locking people out from participating based on how early they got their tokens or how much money they have.
As the prices for POLS rocketed, it has created a barrier to entry for anyone who can’t afford the arbitrary number of tokens that are needed to take part in the swap pools”.
T-Starter brings a new and creative approach to allowing entry to swap pools, championing a model that combines ownership of the START token with staking. All projects looking to launch on T-Starter are also vetted, ensuring every project is doxxed, and there is no risk of rug-pull.
Structure and support for launch on Telos
Ultimately, T-Starter will create a framework for both new and existing projects to launch on Telos -providing a much-needed structure for new developers, as well as access to fundraising.
We can’t wait to get T-Starter fully tried and tested and deployed on the Telos mainnet. Watch this space!
